Peru

In 2007, Deutsche Post DHL extended its partnership with UNICEF to another continent.

All the way up in the Peruvian Andes, the group supports UNICEF’s efforts to supply 40 basic health centers with medical equipment and micronutrient supplements.

In these remote mountain villages, UNICEF helps to educate residents on important health risks, immunizes children against infections, and makes sure that expectant mothers receive all the medical care they need. This comprehensive program will benefit around 3,000 pregnant women and 7,000 children up to the age of three.
