DHL sets sail in Abu Dhabi
Stopping over in some of the most iconic harbors of the world, the prestigious Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012 will also visit the Gulf City of Abu Dhabi. Preparations to ensure this event goes on without a hitch are already underway.
An integral part of the logistics required to organize this event, DHL’s organizational and logistical capabilities will be involved in all phases of the race – from freight forwarding and venue services to customs and warehousing services.
In a race consisting of 39.000 nautical miles spanning the globe, DHL will ensure that the Abu Dhabi Stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race, not only be logistically ready, but also be globally ready.
