2011 Formula 1 Santander German Grand Prix

The race for the 2011 Formula One World Championship™ and the DHL Fastest Lap Trophy goes into the next round this coming weekend at the infamous Nürburgring.

For Sebastian Vettel it will be a first- as he takes part in his first grand prix in front of his home supporters as a world champion. And even though the German leads with 80 points, Fernando Alonso will try to keep him on his toes while he hopes to sustain the winning momentum gained at Silverstone.

Both have to give way to Mark Webber in the ongoing battle for the Fastest Lap Trophy, Webber scored four victories so far. But nothing is set in stone yet: Massa, Hamilton, Button, Alonso and Vettel are all tied on one fastest lap and there are still 10 Grand Prixs to come. Enough time to chase Webber for the sought-after trophy.
