In November 2010, DHL Global Forwarding helped give Bucharest a festive glow by shipping 80 tons of lighting equipment from China to Romania’s capital for the Bucharest Christmas Decoration project. Despite delays from suppliers and high expectations from the Mayor of Bucharest, DHL ensured that Christmas arrived early for the city’s residents, who enjoyed the lights during the month of December.
