Formula 1™ is back with the Shell Belgian GP 2011 on Spa-Francorchamps

The Formula One´s summer break is over and we’re in for more fun, excitement and racing passion!

The kick off for this season´s second half takes place on the historic Circuit de Spa-Franchorchamps on August 28th. And again: The who’s who of Formula One racing will be driving to make this race top of the list and win the DHL Fastest Lap Trophy.

As a reminder:

In the overall championship table Sebastian Vettel is still leading the pack with 85 points although his last races could have been more thrilling. So far, he has finished on top of the podium an amazing 6 times out of 11 races.

Mark Webber who failed to make it to the top position in any of the races is placed 2nd right behind his teammate. Close on his tail comes Lewis Hamilton for whom it has not been a particularly good year – having only come in first place twice so far in China and Germany.

When looking at the current Fastest Lap results however, things appear a little differently: Webber is still clearly ahead of the crowd with four Fastest Lap victories, closely followed by both Hamilton and Massa with two victories each. They will be trying to come even closer this weekend to the Fastest Lap top position!

We are also in for an extra treat this weekend: Michael Schumacher will celebrate his 20th anniversary in Formula One after debuting at the Belgian Formula One Grand Prix in 1981 – congratulations to the jubilee!
