At the request of the Brazilian government, in 2008 DHL Express Brazil safely shipped a serum used to treat scorpion attacks from Rio de Janiero to Cordoba, Argentina in less than 18 hours? Time was critical for the operation, as the serum is stored in metallic capsules that can last for only 36 hours. Within the shipment time of 18 hours, DHL also took care of the customs clearance processes for the Argentinean chancellery.
