DHL wishes you a Happy Saint Nicholas Day!

Happy Saint Nicholas Day!
Did you know that Santa Claus, Sinterklaas or Father Christmas all originated from the true historical figure of Saint Nicholas of Myra? St. Nicholas was highly regarded as a generous gift-giver to the poor, sick and suffering ones.
In many western cultures, St. Nicholas Day is celebrated on 6 December. This feast day becomes a jolly-giving holiday for children. They place their shoes beside a fireplace or outside their bedroom doors on the evening of 5 December. The next early morning the kids will find their shoes filled with small gifts and treats like candies, cookies and nuts from the saint.
Today, we at DHL are also reputed as the carrier of gifts during the festive seasons. We may not dress up as Saint Nicholas or Santa Claus on the eve of the feast, but we make sure that your gifts to your loved ones will be delivered on time and in perfect condition anywhere in the world!
We hope you have a blissful holiday season!
