LIM College Students Creating DHL Couture
As New York braces itself for the whirlwind Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week that begins next week, DHL’s helping local visual merchandising students get their foot in the fashion door.

Partnering with LIM College this season, DHL’s sponsoring an unusual competition that has students creating couture out of shipping and packaging materials – a task not unlike that assigned Berlin-designer Michalsky several years back, resulting in a unique new perspective on the uses of tarpaulins and packing tape.

Pictures of the designs will appear online from February 3 – 6 at zangzing.com/limdhlcontest, where you can vote for your favorite of the bunch. The winning creations will be showcased at the DHL booth in the lobby of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, and can be seen on our Facebook site after the shows open on February 9.
