DHL Appoints global ambassador for Rugby World Cup 2011

DHL the Official Logistics Partner of Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011), is proud to announce its appointment of international Rugby legend, Sean Fitzpatrick, as its Global Rugby Ambassador.
Sean Fitzpatrick, a former New Zealand captain and an inspirational leader, was the first New Zealander to captain a Test series win in South Africa.

DHL Express International ranks No 1 in Call Centre Service Study

DHL Express, the global market leader in the international cross-border express shipping business, achieved a staggering score of 93.94% for their e-mail communications in the UK’s biggest ever call centre benchmarking exercise, conducted by independent market research company GfK Mystery Shopping. DHL launches own online shopping portal

Starting now, DHL Paket is the first parcel delivery service in Germany to launch its own online shopping portal, adding a completely new business area to the existing range of parcel services. With MeinPaket.de, DHL mainly addresses the needs of small and medium-sized retailers in Germany and offers them an additional channel to attractively place products in the Internet in order to boost sales. For example, MeinPaket.de provides the option of individual shop-in-shop integration.

DHL is counting on Iveco Electric Daily for environmentally-friendly transport

On September 22, Deutsche Post DHL, the world's leading mail and logistics group, will be symbolically receiving the first Iveco Electric Daily at the International Automotive Show (IAA) in Hanover. The 10 vehicles will be deployed as of 2011 in parcel delivery at various locations in Germany, e.g. Berlin, Bonn, Düsseldorf and Hamburg.

DHL teams up with Rugby World Cup 2011

DHL, the world's leading express and logistics company, announced it has become the Official Logistics Partner to Rugby World Cup 2011 (RWC 2011).
