DHL wins Great Package Race for international delivery

DHL Express first to deliver from US to destination in Asia Pacific for annual shipping contest at Georgia Tech.

DHL was determined to be the winner for the international delivery portion of the Great Package Race of 2009. In a race involving all major package delivery providers in the United States, DHL Express was the first to reach the capital city of Mongolia in the student-managed contest, conducted yearly by The Supply Chain & Logistics Institute at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Formula 1™: Sebastian Vettel wins DHL Fastest Lap Trophy

Double win for Sebastian Vettel at the 2009 FORMULA 1™ ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX

The contest for the DHL Fastest Lap Trophy was decided at the very last moment. On the penultimate lap of the 2009 FORMULA 1™ ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX, Sebastian Vettel finally posted the fastest lap of the race at the Yas Marina Circuit and secured victory in the overall standings ahead of Red Bull team-mate Mark Webber, who had been in the lead at the start of the race. At the close of the race, both drivers had each set three fastest laps, which meant that the number of second fastest laps had now to be taken into account. The young German driver was in front on this score by three to one.
