Milan's Fasting Fashion
Milano Moda Donna, better known as Milan Fashion Week, kicked off February 22 – just as the Catholic period of fasting, Lent, began. But that didn't keep designers from going all out.

The run-up to Lent can be a riotous occasion in Milan, with costumed Italians heading into the streets to celebrate Carnival. This year, Milan Fashion Week followed in Carnival's footsteps and the city kept up the colorful flavor of the festival as designers showcased their Autumn/Winter 2012 wares.

London Calling!
London Fashion Week often takes a back seat to the others in the Big Four, but its reputation as a launchpad for up-and-comers is well-deserved.

Thailand Welcomes Champ19ns Trophy Tour
DHL delivers Manchester United’s Champ19ns Trophy Tour to Bangkok, Thailand, where fans got an up-close-and-personal look at the coveted trophy and DHL employees and customers got to kick around with Manchester United legends.

The English Premier League trophy made its way east to Thailand for a stop in Bangkok on February 10. Manchester United legends, Bryan Robson and Paul Parker spent much of their day signing autographs, posing for photographs and talking with excited fans about what it’s like to play for the most popular football club in the world. And of course many had the opportunity to have their photos taken with one of the most coveted prizes in world football – the English Premier League trophy.

Any sailor will tell you that teamwork is vital out on the high seas. But in an intense competition like the Volvo Ocean Race, working together on land is equally as important.

Luxury on Display in New York
Inside the tent in midtown-Manhattan, the organizers of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week New York pulled out all the stops to see its largest crowd ever at last week’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection showings.
With over 90 designers showing their wares over the course of eight days, more than 100,000 guests rotated in and out of the tent to see what New York’s top fashion brass has in store for the coming winter.

DHL sponsors Premier League clash
DHL, Official Logistics Partner of Manchester United, celebrated the launch of a new training kit by sponsoring the Premier League clash between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford on Saturday 11th February.

To mark the occasion, current Manchester United star Phil Jones and Red Devils' legend Lou Macari were on hand to present new training kit, signed by the entire first team squad, to DHL’s Ken Allen, John Pearson and Wolfgang Giehl.

Champ19ns Trophy Tour kickoff a success
DHL – the Official Logistics Partner of the Manchester United football club – has teamed up with “the Reds” to deliver the Premier League Trophy on a world tour. The tour began with a successful event in Delhi on February 4.

The four-month tour kicked off in Delhi on Saturday February 4. Manchester United legends Denis Irwin and Quinton Fortune as well as the club’s famous mascot, Fred The Red, were on hand to present the trophy, sign signature cards and talk to customers and fans about what it’s like to play for the most popular club in the world.

Telefónica sail to Leg 3 win
Team Telefónica begins looking unbeatable as the Spanish crew clinches its third-straight Volvo Ocean Race leg victory at Sanya.

Despite a rocky start in the first stage of Leg 3 when they finished fourth in the sprint from Abu Dhabi to the Stealth Zone, and a damaged sail on the first night of the second stage, skipper Iker Martinez and crew dominated the race once again, arriving in port at the Chinese island of Sanya ahead of the rest of the fleet on February 4.
