Many of DHL Express Malaysia’s clients are multinational corporations who rely on speedy transportation. Until recently, only a fifth of all DHL deliveries arrived on the early morning flight, relegating most final shipment to much later in the day.
A team of local employees decided to change all of that: after thorough analysis, they identified many unnecessary duplications that slowed down the entire shipping process.
Their solution: They moved the entire sorting chain to DHL’s Penang Airport gateway. This cut out all redundant steps and helped to speed up the local loading system.
