In order to expedite the delivery process and fast-track their sizeable freight throughout Europe, the company turned to DHL – who designed and implemented a brand-new, dedicated distribution network tailored to shorten lead times, add transparency and greatly reduce distribution costs.

As part of this new, streamlined approach, DHL installed a dedicated account center to optimize processes and ensure that goods are picked up daily, run through a consolidated EU customs clearance and then delivered to a central cross-dock point in Eutingen Germany. From here, they are injected directly into the national and international Europack network.
As a result, Angst+Pfister’s German customers now enjoy next-day delivery, while all other EU countries receive their goods within two or three days!
The welcome side effect: a massive reduction in the company’s logistics costs on administration, information flow and freight expenditure.
